Peace Corps - Localise is a youth and community development organisation with 35 years of experience in community action and positive citizenship. It offers four programmes:

  • Peace Corps – Localise Community Action Groups: Localise is a 7-session youth and community action programme, generally run over a 10-week period, that acts as a catalyst to further community action. Adult leaders and young people (aged 13-25) are actively engaged in 'Caring in the Community'.

  • Peace Corps – Localise Schools Initiative: This programme is a practical learning educational tool, with a built-in community action programme that can be run as part of the school curriculum in C.S.P.E., S.P.H.E., R.E. and transition year community development.

  • Peace Corps – Localise within Third Level Education: The Localise Active Citizenship model offers students within third level colleges and institutes the opportunity to be actively engaged in community work within their local area.

  • Peace Corps – Localise Active Citizenship Integration Programme: This new programme focuses on engaging foreign nationals in direct community work within their own areas. The Polish Localise programme is the first group to come on stream with this new initiative.
